What is a spouse visa and how to apply for it?

Also called marriage visa, a spouse visa allows the partner (husband or wife) of the UK citizens to immigrate into the country as they are married to a British citizen. The sponsor has to be a person who is settled in the UK and there are no legal restrictions on the duration of his/her stay in the country.

The sponsor must have suitable accommodation.
